ADVANCED TRAUMA RECOVERY PRACTICES & INTERVENTIONS

This 6-day intensive training programmes is aimed at coaches, counsellors, mental health practitioners, nurses, social workers and other professionals or leaders who want to support people affected by trauma more confidently and effectively.

The six-module summary below provides a sample outline for this training programme. The content detail is currently being updated and will be finalised in March 2025.

Module One ~ Introducing trauma, the nervous system and trauma informed terminology

Module Two ~ The impact of trauma on different individuals, groups and cultures

Module Three ~ Bio-psycho-social models of trauma informed practices & interventions, blended with contemporary applied neuroscience research

Module Four ~ Integration of polyvagal nerve theory and embodied, whole nervous system recovery, applied across various contexts and situations, individually, collectively, generationally and culturally

Module Five ~ Kintsugi integrative approach for working with clients – application of learning to real life situations & scenarios

Module Six ~ sustainable models for working with clients towards post-traumatic growth and comprehensive trauma recovery integration
